Center for Surgery at Ivinson
Department Mission StatementTo provide each patient with the best quality of surgical care with a high level of safety in a compassionate environment.
As part of our Planetree philosophy we strive to do the right things, for every patient, every time.
At the Center for Surgery at Ivinson Memorial Hospital there are 3 newly renovated OR suites with state of the art technology, a Cysto room and an Endoscopy room. We offer surgical procedures ranging from Orthopedic, Urology, General Surgery, OB/GYN, Gastrology and ENT.
The Perioperative Unit (Surgery Center) educates and prepares patients for their operation. The PACU (Recovery Room) is a critical area that focuses on making the patient's transition from the OR as comfortable and safe as possible. The Inpatient Medical/Surgical Unit is comprised of surgical patients that stay the night after surgery. This unit focuses on pain control, patient safety and education of the patient while in the hospital and at home.
